19.08.2007 Silvanus Youngster get prepared for coming hunting tests

The summer will end shortly and the hunting tests for our youngsters from the Silvanus-O-Litter are near by. This is obviously the view of all the leaders who going to start with their young dogs in the next weeks. We like to show some pictures from the early prearrangement of Silvanus Opal, who learns from Thorsten Hintze and his wife in a playful way to handle the fox and the rabbit. 02.08.2007 Silvanus Opal & Silvanus Oliveira show debut in Detmold

At the 1rst. of July Silvanus Opal and his sister Silvanus Oliveira had have their show debut at the CAC in Detmold. Judge Mr. Wil Hoechstenbach from the Netherlands gave both a "very promising". We wish both dogs a great show career.
At the same show under judge Mr. Brabletz from Poland Silvanus Noblesse could win the workingdog class and Silver Fog Venecia the Intermedium class. And again Silvanus Mortimer recieved the victory in the workingdog class too, the CAC and his 27th BOB. Congratulations!!

28.05.2007 Silvanus English Setter had been successfull at CAC show Bestensee

Again our dogs had a succesfull show in Bestensee this year. Judge was Mrs. Bandel from Germany.
Winner of the day was Silvanus Mortimer. He won the Championclass, receivesd the title, BOb and at least won the Best in Show. This was his 25th BOB - Congratulation

09.05.2007 Silvanus Nightingale wins title European winner (VDH) 2007

This year another of our dogs had been succssesfull at the European Dogshow (VDH) in Dortmund. Silvanus Nightingale starting in the Intermedium class received from judge Mr. Udo Reppin (Germany) Exc. 1, CAC, CACIB and the title European Winner 2007 (VDH). Congratulation

01.05.2007 Next Silvanus litter planned in summer 2007

Dear friends and visitors on this homepage, I have got the information from normaly quiet well informed circles that a new Silvanus litter is planned in the comming summer in Berlin:

These youngsters will be our future ... a couple like Paul and Klärchen

They are the Silvanus future but for the comming litter they are still to young; maybe it's time for members of the N-Litter?!

Silvanus Noblesse and Silvanus Nightingale both could pass her adult hunting contest "Einzelsuche" under the leadership of Tanja succssesfully. Congratulation to Tanja and the proud owners .

At the CACIB in Opole/ Poland our dogs could win again:
Tanja's youngster Silver Fog Venecia won the Junior CWC and Junior BOB; Silvanus Nightingale could win the Intermedium class with Exc.1, CWC and received the CACIB. Her Sister Silvanus Noblesse won the workingdog class and received Exc. 1and CWC. Silvanus Mortimer was winner of the day again: He won the workingdog class Exc. 1, received CWC, CACIB and BOB, could win the title "Best Workingdog" and at least won group 7. Congratulation!!!

25.02.2007 All Puppies rom the Silvanus Olsen-Litter passed the beartest

In the beginning of Februrary all the little puppies from our Silvanus O-Litter had passed the bear-test successesfully. This test has been accomplished by Herrn Dr. Joachim Kröger.
The result: "All puppies are able to hear ambilateral".

18.11.2006 Exciting end of the show season 2006

The last few weeks had been exciting and successfull for our dogs.

Silvanus Noblesse could win the Youth Class at the CACIB in Hannover and received the necessary thrid award for the title German Youth Champion (VDH). One week later her sister Silvanus Nightingale followed and won the Youth Class and third award for this title at the CACIB in Stuttgart. That was Silvanus Mortimers special day: he won the Working dog Class, CAC, CACIB, BOB and won Group 7. Afterwards he won the winners group and was elected as the Winner of the Day.

The next weekend a lot of our dogs went to the World Winner Show 2006 in Poznan (Poland). Silvanus Mortimer received in the Working dog Class an Excellent 2; same result for Silvanus Nightingale in the Youth Class. This was a acceptable result for both of them in the face of the extraordinary competion at a World Winner Show.

30.10.2006 Good results for the Silvanus family in Forst and Rostock

Die CAC in Forst am 3.10.2006 konnte Silvanus Melissa won the CAC Show in Forst at Oct. the 3rd.; she received the CAC, BOB and the title Landessieger Baden-Württemberg. At the same show Landmark Sarah Jayne received an Exc.1 in the Open Class.
Nathalie Deichholz won together with Silvanus Melissa the Juniorhandling competition and got 20 Points for being Winner of the day. Congratulations and good luck for the coming competions.

We had a good and succssesfull day at the CACIB show in Rostock. Silvanus Najade could win the Intermediate Class and received the CACIB. And Silvanus Mortimer was our winner of the day. He won the Workingdog Class, received the CACIB, BOB and was able to win Group 7 for the third time. Best wishes and congrtulations to Hannelore and Tanja.

04.10.2006 Succssesfull start into the autum of 2006

Our dogs had had a good start back in the show scene after the long hot summer. Silvanus Millefleur could win the CACIB at the internationalen show in Leipzig. Silvanus Mortimer received again the BOB at the Waldemar-Marr-Gedächtnisschau in Berlin and won the title Best Working Dog in Show. At least our little one Silvanus Noblesse could win the Youth Class at the CAC in Leipzig.

03.09.2006 Silvanus Nautilus received first title "German Youth-Champion (VDH)"

Silvanus Nautilus was alble to win this year the Youth-Class contests at the CACIB Show in Berlin and Neumünster and at the National Breeding Show in Dresden. Now he had got his reward: the title German Youth-Champion (VDH). Congratulations to the proud owners!

At the CAC Show in Königsforst Elke Deichholz could win with Silvanus Melissa the Champion Class and received the CAC. Silvanus Kapriccio won the first place in the Honour Class. At least Nathalie could win together with Silvanus Melissa the Juniorhandling section 1 and received 15 points for this victory. Cngratulations from here too.

08.07.2006 Succssesfull weekend for our young ones

Our young ones from the N-Litter could win agian on different shows:

At the National Breeding Show in Dresden Silvanus Nautilus and Silvanus Nightingale were both able to win under the eyes of judge Manfred Otto Gnann the youth class with excellent 1 and they received both tha award for the Youth Champion title (VDH).
Silvanus Noblesse could win the youth class at the CACIB in Stettin too an received the title Youthwinner Bitches.

05.07.2006 Silvanus Mortimer gewinnt BOB Nr. 18 und 19 in Polen

Tanja und Mortimer are still a winning team in 2006 too. At the International Show in Leszno Silvanus Mortimer received from judge Richter Andrzej Brabletz CACIB, BOB and the challenge cup "Sieger des Memorial Jerzy Zwierello"; in group 7 he won the second place. Silvanus Noblesse won the Youthwinner title and Silvanus Millefleur could win the Championklasse and received the CACIB too.
One week later at the CWC Show in Gorzwo nearly the same results: Silvanus Mortimer won the CWC, BOB and became 2. in group 7. Temeraire Torrid Zone and Silvanus Millefleur both won the Champion class and Silvanus Noblesse got the Youthwinner title again.

In the new English Setter Kennel "... aus dem Fontanagrund" owned by the Family Iwohn in Neustrelitz the A-litter has arrived with 8 dogs and 2 bitches. The parents are Silvanus Magnolia x Gomez of Meadow's Brook. All the best wishes to Magnolia, her owners and the little puppies!
For a few of the puppies Mr. and Mrs. Iwohn are looking for a good new home.

21.05.2006 Silvanus Family received 2 European Winner (VDH) Titles in Dortmund

The European Winner Show (VDH) as the most succssesfull day of 2006 until now. Mother Silvanus Millefleur and her daughter Silvanus Noblesse had been able to win the treasured European Winner Title (VDH). Judge Gerd Wolff from Germany awarded first the European Youth-Winner title to Silvanus Noblesse and later the European Winner Title 2006 and the BOB to Silvanus Millefleur. Congratulation and best wishes from all of us to Hannelore and Tanja in Berlin!

11.04.2006 Succssesfull Start into the new sshow-season 2006

The English Setters of the Silvanus family had have a succssesfull start into 2006 at the CACIB show in Berlin at the 2nd of April. Silvanus Morningstar won the Open Class and got the CACIB for the best bitch. At least she received the BOB from judge Dr. Katrin Schmidt (D). Silvanus Magnolia won the workingdog class and received the CACIB-Reserve. Silvanus Mauritio won the Champion class and received the CACIB for the best dog. Silvanus Nautilus won the Juniorclass and his sister Silvanus Nightingale could win the Junior bitch contest.

12.03.2006 We are expecting the spring

Hello to all Silvanus friends, we still have a strong and snowy wintertime in Germany. But never the less our young English Setters prepair themthelves for the comming youth hunting contests in springtime. We wish a lot of succsses to all of you.

We found a very good new home for the little puppy from the litter of Dam Maja Liwia Elater and Sire Temeraire Torrid. And for the new proud owners we wish all the best for and a good time together with this beautifull young English Setter..

Dear friends some of you know this situation: Last weekend I lost a millions of datas because my computer crashed down. All the informations, pics and e-mail adresses I had received since december 2005 are gone! Please send m your Infos again and I need some weeks to update the English Setter database. 31.12.2005 A succsessfull year is passing

We had some succsessfull shows at the end of 2005.
Silvanus Kapriccio won at the CACIB show in Stuttgart the Honour class and Silvanus Melissa could win the open class and received the the Reserve-CACIB. At the CACIB show in Kassel in Deceber she could win her class again. Now Silvanus Melissa too received the title German Champion (VDH).
Jaqueline Deichholz won the second place at the Juniorhandling Group II in Stuttgart and her sister Nathalie Deichholz received the third place in group I. With this result she was finally qualified for the National Juniorhandling Contest for the 10 best Juniorhandlers in 2005. In this contest Nathalie became third! Congratulations and best wishes for the coming season.

10.11.2005 Succssesfull trip to Poznan (Pl)

Our dogs are still able to be succssesfull. At the CACIB show in Poznan Silvanus Mortimer had a great day again. "Morti" won the Workingdog Class with Exc. 1, the CWC, CACIB and the BOB - title: Winner Poland 2005. At least he won the group 7! Now he has like his father Temeraire torrid Zone all necessary awards for the title Champion Poland. The following titles are now confirmed for Mortimer: International Beauty Champion (ISchCh), German Beauty Champion (DtSchCh) and German Champion VDH (Dt.Ch. (VDH).
Congratulation to Hannelore and Tanja! This counts for the succsses in Poznan of Silvanus Millfleur - Winner Open Class and CWC - and Temeraire Torrid Zone - Winner Champion Class, CWC and CACIB-Reserve - too.

09.11.2005 Silvanus Family more than succssesfull at the CACIB in Rostock

Silvanus Mortimer was able to win again in Rostock. He received from judge Mr. Henry Fonfara Excel1ent 1 in the Workingdog Class and again CAC, CACIB and BOB. His brother Silvanus Mauritio could win the Open Class and received CACIB Reserve. Third boy in the ring at the CACIB decision was Temeraire Torrid Zone who won the Champion Class with Excelent 1.
Our girls had been even succssesfull! Silvanus Millefleur could win the Open Class received an Excellent 1, CAC and CACIB too. Now she is the first of our young ladies from the M-Litter who received all necessary rewards for the title "German Champion (VDH)"
CACIB Reserve was won by her sister Silvanus Magnolia. She could win the Workingdog Class with excellent 1 too.

14.10.2005 Silvanus Melissa wins BOB in Forst

It was a real succssesfull day for Silvanus Melissa and Nathalie. First Silvanus Melissa could win the Open Class received an Excelent 1, the award for the title "German Champion", title Winner Baden 2005 and at least the BOB. Afterwards Nathalie showed her realy well and could win her Juniorhandling Class and became Winner of the day.
Our "Silky" Landmark Sarah Jane was in very good condition too and received Exc. 2 in the Open Class including the reserve award and the Reserve CAC. Congratulations to Elke and Nathalie Deichholz for a succssesfull show.

07.10.2005 Sevenoaks Euro wins BOB in Berlin

At the CAC Waldemar-Marr-Gedächtnisausstellung in Berlin Sevenoaks Euro "Candy" could win the Intermedium Class with Exc.1, received the CAC an the title Winner Berlin 2005. At least Candy could win her first BOB. Congratualtions to Hannelore and Dr. K. Schmidt.
Silvanus Mauritio's title "German Champion (VDH)" is now confirmed. He started the first time in the Champion Class at the show in Berlin and won the CAC and the title Winner Berlin 2005

18.09.2005 Silvanus dogs succssesfull at the CACIB Show in Leipzig

It had been again a lucky day for our dogs at the CACIB show in Leizig. Silvanus Mortimer could win again. He received winning the workingdog class the CAC, CACIB, BOB and at least won the 3. place in group 7. His brother Silvanus Mauritio won the open class and received CACIB-Reserve. Temeraire Torrid Zone got an Exc. 2 in the Champion class and Silvanus Magnolia received an Exc. 2 in the workingdog class and the CACIB-Reserve too.

04.09.2005 Again CAC Show in Bad Segeberg

Some more news from this succssesfull show: Silvanus Magnolia could although win the CAC and her sister Silvanus Millefleur received at her first show after the Silvanus N-Litter an excellent 2. 30.08.2005 Succssesful CAC Show in Bad Segeberg

We had a grat day at the CAC Show in Bad Segeberg. Judge Haro de Haro from Spain gave Silvanus Mortimer the CAC and the BOB and his father Temeraire Torrid Zone received the CAC Reserve. Silvanus Magnolia could win not only the workingdog class of English Setter bitches; she received the title "Best Workingdog Bitch". Congratulation to Hannelore, Tanja and Mr. Iwohn!

22.08.2005 We have found a lovley new home for Silvanus Norina

This was a really bad and rainy summer in Germany, but we hope all members and friends of the Silvanus family enjoyed their hollydays together with teir lovley dogs. The headline shows the best news of the last days: Silvanus Norina has found a good new home near Potsdam.

28.07.2005 In focus: 2 young bitches - Hommage to Sevenoaks Euro "Candy"

Because of a secluded reservation we are looking forward to a new home for a sweet young tricolour bitch called Silvanus Norina.

A lot of good friends and the members of the Silvanus Family knew that "little secret" since month. We have a new member at Silvanus:

07.07.2005 Nathalie & Silvanus Kapriccio won Juniorhandling at the CAC Show Detmold

All the competitors of the Juniorhandling Contest had shown a very good performance. Judge Mr. Noppert and his wife had a very difficult job, because all the competitors were very close together. In the finish the dogs were changed and at least Nathalie Deichholz and Silvanus Kapriccio could win this tournement. Congratulations! Our little puppies from the Silvanus N-Litter have been growing to real English Setters and they are realy cute. A lot of work for Hannelore in the last days to keep them together all the time. In the near future it is time to say "Good by". Good luck to all this great little dogs and thier new families. We wish you all the very best. 25.06.2005 Silvanus Magnolia could win BOB in Oldenburg

At the CACIB Show in Oldenburg organized for Pointers and Setters from Elke Deichholz Silvanus Magnolia was succssesfull again. She could win the Workingdog-Class with Excelent 1, got the CAC and CACIB and at least received from the judge Mrs. Ilse Mauler-Rosner from Austria the BOB. Congrtulations to the proud owner Mr. Iwohn in Berlin.

26.05.2005 Silvanus Mauritio wins CAC in Bestensee - First pictures from the Silvanus N-Liter!

The CAC show in Bestensee was again a Silvanus family meeting. Silvanus Mauritio could win the Workingdog Class, got the CAC and the title Winner Brandenburg - Mecklenburg-Vorpommern 2005. Now he had received all necessary rewards for the title "German Champion (VDH)". Congratulation to the proud owners Sylvia and Lutz Neumann.
Silvanus Magnolia was succsessfull too. She could win the Workingdog Class for ES Bitches with an Exc. 1. You will find some pictures from the show in "photos of 2005".

15.05.2005 We say "welcome" to the Silvanus N-Litter

The long waiting has come to its end. Silvanus Millefleur named "Snoopy" has born 9 puppies beginning at Saturday the 14.th to Sunday the 15.th of Mai. Snoopy got 2 little dogs and 7 bitches. They are all healthy and ok. A lot of them have shown from their birth on some "blue signs".
Congratulations to Hannelore and Snoopy. We are expecting the first photos in the next days.

08.05.05 Silvanus Mortimer Winner European Championchip Dortmund 2005

Again it was a great day for our new Champion Silvanus Mortimer. In Dortmund he could win the title "European Championchip (VDH) 2005. Under the eyes of Judge Dr. Peper he won the Workingdog-Class with Excellent 1, received the CAC, CACIB, BOB and the European Champion title. In group 7 Tanja Pankotsch handeld "Morti" perfekt again and he could win 2. Place.
Congratulation too Hannelore and Tanja in Berlin!!

And at least Ch. Temeraire Torrid Zone received Excellent 2 at the same Show in the Champion-Class.

05.05.2005 Litter announcement for Silvanus N-Litter

We are expecting puppies in the next few days.It will be the first litter for Silvanus Millefleur "Snoopy". Stud is Blue Baltic's IceArtist Victor. You will find more informations under "Puppies".

25.04.2005 Silvanus dogs running for titles

Silvanus Mortimer was succsessfull again! At the CACIB Show in Berlin he was able again to win the Open Class. From the judge Dr. Peter Beyersdorf (Germany ) our "Morti" received the CAC, CACIB and the BOB too. Now with less than 2 1/2 years he got all the necessary rewards for following titles: German Champion VDH, German Beauty Champion and International Beauty Champion. Congratulation to Hannelore and Tanja!
In the meantime Silvanus Kapriccio's title as Champion Austria (Ch. Aut.) is confirmed. Congratulations too; you will not find this title very often for a german English Setter.
At least: Temeraire Torrid Zone could win the Champion Class at the Berlin show.

20.03.2005 Nathalie wins Juniorhandling at the CACIB Show in Offenburg

The Silvanus family had a very succsessfull day at the CACIB Show in Offenburg. Especially it was the "Winnig-Day" for Nathalie together with Silvanus Kapriccio. She was able to win souvereign against 14 competitors the class up to the age of 13 years. Congratulation from all of us! Keep going on this way!

But our dogs had a winnig day too. Silvanus Melissa handeld by Elke Deichholz won the Open Class, got the CACIB and received the BOB and at least won the 2nd place in group 7. And Silvanus Kapriccio received the 1. Place in the Honour Class.

04.02.2005 Succsessfull Start in 2005

Landmark Sarah Jane won the BOB at the CACIB Show in Nürnberg. Silvanus Melissa could win the Reserve CACIB at the same show. Two weeks before she received an Excelent 1 at the CAC show in Essen.

11.01.2005 We wish you a happy new year 2005

The year 2004 is over. It is time for a review. Our lovley Etna Franciszkanski Folwark went to Rainbow-Bridge. But it was again a very very successfull year for our dogs, especially for Silvanus Mortimer and Tanja. Please take a look to our review 2004.
And spcial congratulations to Elke Deichholz for passing her hunting examination and her first successfull hunting season.

14.12.2004 Silvanus Dogs have been very succssessful at the CACIB Show in Wels/ Austria

The trip to Austria was very succssessful this year: Silvanus Melissa won the Intermediate Class, CACA and at least the CACIB - Congartulations to Elke and Melissa!
Silvanus Kapriccio was able to win the Workingdog Class and received his third Austrian CACA. Now he is candidate for the title "Austrian Champion". Landmark Sarah Jane received an Excelent 2 and the Reserve CACA in the Open Class.

05.12.2004 Temeraire Torrid Zone could win CACIB in Lausanne

The last weeks and month have been very busy but our dogs could some very succssesfull shows. In Lausanne/ Switzerland Temeraire Torrid Zone could win the CACIB. And in Poznan/ Poland Silvanus Mortimer could win his next BOB and receives the second place in group 7.

13.09.2004 Silvanus Mortimer could win CACIB Leipzig too!

Silvanus English Setters had great succsses at the CACIB show in Leipzig. Silvanus Mortimer could win the title Winner Leipzig 2004 and received from international judge Walter Schicker (D) CAC, CACIB and BOB.
Silvanus Kimberly could win the Championclass and received CAC, CACIB and the title Winner Leipzig in the bitch section .

07.09.2004 Silvanus Mortimer could win two times Best in Show

Our young one Silvanus Mortimer was more than succesful. First he could win all titles and the Best in Show at the CAC Show in Bad Seegeberg and only a week later he was able to repeat this success at the CAC show in Paren-Glien. Congrtulations to Hannelore and Tanja, who presented him again perfect.
Silvanus Millefleur could win in Bad Segeberg and in Paaren-Glien the Intermediumclass and received both times a "Excelent 1".

29.08.2004 Silvanus Dogs have had a lot of succssess at the summer shows

Again the last three month were very very successful for the Silvanus dogs especially from the M-litter.

First Silvanus Mortimer, who received at the international CACIB shows in Stettin (Poland) and Oberwarth (Austria) each time the CACIB, BOB and could win at both shows the 3. price in group 7. Silvanus Millefleur was successful too: Sie could win CACIB in Oberwarth und in Szombathely (Tschekoslowakia). At least Silvanus Melissa received last weekeend the CAC at the show in Cologne-Brauweiler.

27.07.2004 We mourn for Etna Franciszkanski Folwark

Our lovley is on her last trip to the Rainbow-Bridge. Hannelore and all Silvanus friends are very very sad. You will find Erna's obituary on a special page.

23.05.2004 A succsselfull month for Silvanus again

Temeraire Torrid Zone was successful at the CAC Show in Bestensee near Berlin. He won the Championclass, the CAC, BOB and at least the Best in Show (BIS). His daughter Silvanus Millefleur won the Open Class and the CAC at the same show. Silvanus Kondor could win the second place at the Championclass and last but not least Silvanus Mauricio won the Open Class and received the CAC Reserve. Many congatualtions to Hannelore and the other owners of our Silvanus dogs.

This time Silvanus Mortimer prefered the hunting contest. He received 199 pionts at the Einzelsuche; his leader at this contest was Tanja Pankotsch. Congratulations and good luck in the Workingdog Class.

17.05.2004 We are looking forward to a new litter at the Kennel von der Guldegg

We are expecting hopefully good news from Austria in the middle of Mai. Temeraire Torrid Zone and Qu's Just Call Me Jenny von der Guldegg got "married" and we are proudly looking forward to the new litter. From Germany best wishes to Ilse Mauler and her dog and all the best for the coming puppies.

Two more dogs of our M-Litter have been successful at their Youth-Hunting contests. Silvanus Morningstar and Silvanus Mauricio could pass the test. Congratulation to the leaders and the proud owners.

05.04.2004 Silvanus M-Litter succssesfull

The new season has started very succssesfully for our young dogs. First Silvanus Melissa was able to win not only the Youth-Class at the CACIB Show in Nürnberg but the BOB too. Landmark Sarah Jayne could win her first CACIB at the same show.
Only one weekend later Temeraire Torrid Zone won the Champion Class at the CACIB Show in Berlin. His 16 month old boy Silvanus Mortimer could beat him this time. He won the Open Class, the CACIB and at least the BOB - Winner Berlin 2004!

Last weekend our youngest dogs went to the Youth-Hunting Test. Silvanus Melissa, Silvanus Millefleur and Silvanus Mortimer, they all passed the test successfully. Congratulations to the proud owners!

The new year has been started with a good news for Hannelore: Her good boy Wombles better known as Temeraire Torrid Zone received the title German Champion from the VDH,

22.11.2003 Silvanus Kapriccio International Beauty Champion

Now it is official: the FCI confirmed Silvanus Kapriccio's title International Beauty Champion. We are proud for the first "Interchamp" of the Silvanus K-Litter. At the Eurodogshow in Kortrijk/ Belgium Silvanus Kapriccio won the Workingdog Class and received the CAC and CACIB Reserve. Silvanus Melissa became second in the Youth Class and received an "excellent".
One week earlier Silvanus Kondor won at the CAC show in Heiligensee/ Berlin the CAC and the BOB. Silvanus Mortimer won the Youth Class and received his first Youthwinner-Title. At the same show our girls Landmark Sarah Jane, Silvanus Melissa and Silvanus Millefleur all received excellent judge reports.

1.11.2003 Silvanus Mortimer won the BOB in Hannover

The next dog from the Silvanus M-Litter-Gang had a great show debut. Silvanus Mortimer won the Youth-Class and the BOB at the CACIB Show in Hannover and was able to beat his father Temeraire Torrid Zone, who won the CACIB and received the last necessary award for the title German Champion (VDH). And Silvanus Millfleur too was very succssesfull and won the Youth-Class for bitches.
Congratulations to Hannelore and Tanja and we are all proud about the new Silvanus Champion.

14.10.2003 Silvanus Mauricio und Millefleur had a succssesfull debut

At the CAC show in Leipzig our young dogs from the M-Litter had a succssesfull debut. Silvanus Mauricio won the Youth-class and received an Excelent 1 and the title Youth-Winner Sachsen 2003 from the Judge Mrs. Nauer (Switzerland). Hannelores young lady Silvanus Millefleur received an Excellent 2 and a real nice judge report. Congratulations to Hannelore and Mr and Mrs Neumann!

And some more good news: Silvanus Kapriccio is now an official Champion of Luxembourgh. The title had been confirmed last week.

14.09.2003 Temeraire Torrid Zone and Silvanus Kapriccio succssesfull again!

The last weeks have been very eventfull but we could receive some beautifull wins:
This year Temeraire Torrid Zone was succssesfull at the CAC Show in Paaren-Glien and won the CAC and the BOB. After a second place in the Champions Class in Belgium Silvanus Kapriccio could win in three years for the third time the BOB at the CACIB show in Stuttgart. One week later he got the first place in the Honour Class at the CAC Show in Pienzenau. The next day at the CACIB Show in Luxembourgh again he won the Workingdog Class and received all the necessary awards for the Luxembourgh Champion.
From now on Landmark Sarah Jayne has to compete in the adult class. She received twice a second place at her first starts in the Open Class. Silvanus Melissa's first competitions have been heart-warming but never the less succssesfull too. She received a "Very Promissing" from four different European judges and as the "Best Puppy" English Setters she was shown in the Honour rings at the CACIB shows in Mechelen and in Luxembourgh where she received the third place of all present female puppies and a real big winners cup.

10.08.2003 Big Brag from Australia

We have one of the hottest summers in the last years here in Germany but in Australia the winter show saison has started a few weeks ago. And Suzane Walsh had a very happy start into the new season. Graylors Hot Topic - father of Temeraire Torrid Zone and Landmark Sarah Jayne - won at the Heidelberg and District Kennel Club Show the BOB and his daughter, Wombles sister Temeraire Made In Haven, won the BCC at this show too. Congratulations to a very happy Suzane and good luck for the comming shows.
Our young ones from the Silvanus M-Litter are trying hard to become succssesfull like their grandfahter "Curry". You can find some pictures in the newest "photos of today".

21.06.2003 Silvanus Kapriccio und Temeraire Torrid Zone could win the Vereinssiegershow

We had a good time together at the Club-Winner-Show of the German Verein für Pointer und Setter e.V. in Leipheim/ Bavaria. The two judges of this special show- only winners in the year 2002 are allowed to start - were Jürgen Wegner and Dr. Peter Beiersdorf. They probably liked our dogs.
Temeraire Torrid Zone could win the title in the contest for English Setter Dogs Youthclass and Silvanus Kapriccio won the title in the contest for adult English Setter Dogs. This great succsses made it easier to stand all the discussions around the General Meeting of our Club this year.

10.06.2003 Temeraire Torrid Zone wins CAC Reserve in Brandenburg

Temeraire Torrid Zone won at the CAC Show in Brandenburg the Open Class and received the CAC Reserve. Congratulation to Hannelore and Tanja who again presented Wombles excelent

25.04.2003 Silvanus Kapriccio wins CACIB in Namur

Silvanus Kapriccio started for the first time in the Champion Class at the CACIB Show in Namur/ Belgic. He could win this class and the last CACIB he needed to receive the title International Beauty Champion (FCI). We were so happy and say "Thank You" for all the congratulations. Landmark Sarah Jayne won again an "Excelent" at this show. Four weeks earlier at the CACIB Show in Antwerp/ Belgic she got the title "Best Youthdog". In Anwerp Karim was able to win the Working Dog Class.

At the CAC Sow in Bestensee near Berlin Silvanus Kondor won like in the year before the CAC and Temeraire Torrid Zone could win the open class and received the award for the title German Champion (VDH). Congratulations!

13.04.2003 Landmark Sarah Jayne passed her Youth Hunting Test successfully

After a lot of training lessons in the last weeks we went last sunday with Landmark Sarah Jayne (Silky) to the Youth Hunting Test in Wangerland near our home. The weather was sunny and cold. We had a strong and very cold wind from the Northern Sea. But at the end this day was very successfull. Silky did her job well and passed this trial (VJP) with a good result of 64 points. At the CACIB Berlin Silvanus Kondor won the CACIB in Berlin under the judge Mr. W. Höchstenbach from the Netherlands. Temeraire Torrid Zone won the open class and received an Ex. 1 and his second award at a CACIB show for the title German Champion (VDH).

23.03.2003 Impressions of a great weekend

It is Sunday evening and a real great and sunny weekend is going to its end. On both days we spend a lot of hours outside with our dogs. Espesccially the training with Landmark Sarah Jayne for her Youth-Hunting Contest has taken a lot of time. Elke took a few photos from one of the lessons. Original comment: " Try to run over the fields with an expensive digital camera in your hand, keep caution of the field-lead and try to get near enough to make good photo shots". I think she did a good job. Take a look at the section Photos 2003 - "Training for the hunting contest".

To all the fans of Silvanus Melissa and all the people who like to become a fan of her I have put some impressions of a walk in the section Photos 2003 too. I will show you pictures of the other puppies from the M-litter if the owners have send me some.

22.03.2003 More than 250 English Setters in our database

We are proud to present you informations and photos about more than 250 English Setters in our database. Thank you to all the friends who helpes us to build this unique Medium about English Setters living in Germany or near by. We ask all owners of the dogs: Contact us if you find an information that is not correct and please send us photos from your dogs.

A small information to whom it may concern: Since last weekend Hans-Joerg is not longer Vize-Chairman of the northern Chapter of the German Pointer and Setter Verein e.V.; but Elke is still the organizer of the CAC Show at the 7th of June in Verden. We ask all interested setter owners to visit her show. Judges are Mr. Laurent Pichard Switzerland for English Setters, Gordon Setters, Irish Red and White Setters and Pointers. Mrs. Willy Duinkerken from the Netherlands will judge the Irish Red Setters.

09.02.2003 New homes for our puppies

An exciting week for the puppies with vaccinations and tatooing came to its end. On sunday and the next days most of the puppies went to their new homes. It was an exciting and sad moment when the new proud puppy-owners came and take their Silvanus-Puppy. All the puppies arrived without problems in their new homes and they all feel good .
We wish all the best to the new members of the "Silvanus-Family" and their little ones. We hope they will keep in contact with us like all the other members do.

Last weekend we went to Berlin again to take a look on the puppies. It is fascinating how much the little puppies grow in only one week. We took a photo of every little dog again to let you take part on the evolution of the 9 puppies. You will find them at the puppie-page.
On Thurstday last week all the puppies passed the BAER-Test without any problem.

18.01.2003 Visit in Berlin

This weekend we had the chance to drive to Berlin to visit Hannelore and see the puppies. They are all in a very good condition and look really beautifull. The parents and Hannelore can look proud on this litter.

11.01.2003 Silvanus Kapriccio received title "German Beauty Champion"

Now it is official: Our blue-belton Boy Karim received the title "German Beauty Champion" for winning more than 4 CAC's as a working dog. Thank you to all again who helped us so much.
Good news from Hannelore in Berlin: All the puppies are still growing well. We expect the newest photos in the next days and will show them as soon as possible on the puppie page.

30.12.2002 We wish you a happy New Year 2003

Dear friends and English Setter-lovers,

the passing year 2002 was full of events and succsses for all mebers of the Silvanus-Kennel. We wish to all of you a Happy New Year.
The most important news of the year 2002from our point of view is: All puppies are healthy and growing well.
Another important event happend at the 15th. of Mai: Landmark Sarah Jayne named Silky arrived save from Australia in Germany. A big "Thank You" to all who helped us to bring her save to her new home in Wangerland/ Germany.

The year 2002 was more than succssesfull for our dogs:

Temeraire Torrid Zone got his studbook number and is now a proud father of nine puppies. Her won Best in Show at the Waldemar Marr Cup in Berlin and in the Youthclass he received the title "European Champion Youthclass (VDH)" in Dortmund and won the Youthclass at the CAC Show in Bestensee. "Whombles" received 3 prospects for the German Championship (VDH) in the Open Class.
Silvanus Kapriccio received in 2002 the title German Champion (VDH) and won at 15 starts in Germany and other European countries:
1 x Best in Show

13. - 14.12.2002 Big Brag: The Silvanus puppies were born this weekend

The long waiting has come to its end. Etna Franzciskanski Folwark named Erna has born 9 puppies beginning at Friday the 13.th to Saturday the 14.th of December. Erna and Wombles got 2 little dogs and 7 bitches. They are all healthy and ok. A lot of them have shown from their birth on some "blue signs". Congratulations to Hannelore and Erna. We are expecting the first photos in the next days.

08.12.2002 Showseason 2002 finished with success

The Showseason in 2002 finished with some more success of our dogs. Silvanus Kapriccio won at the CAC-Show in Bremen at the 1. of December everything - he got the CAC, BOB and at last the "Best in Show". Judge was Mrs. Elaine Wartze from Switzerland. One week later he recieved the CACIB-Reserve in Wels/ Austria from the judge Mrs. Brigitte Igalffy-Igally from Austria. Many thanks to Tanja who presented our dogs perfectly again.
Landmark Sarah Jayne was at her first starts in the Youth-Class succeesfull too. She had won at the CAC show in Bremen and recieved in Wels an "Excellent1".

20.11.2002 We are expecting the Silvanus M-Litter

We are very happy, because we are expecting the next Silvanus litter before christmas. Dam and Sire are Etna Franzciszkanski Folwark and Temeraire Torrid Zone of the new Australian-German partnerchip. We wish Hannelore all the best for the awaiting puppies. You will find more infos at our new page "puppies".

09. - 10.11.2002 The Weekend of our Australian Setters!

Temeraire Torrid Zone has been presented in an excelent condition at the Waldemar Marr Cup in Berlin. He won the CAC, the BOB and at least he won for the first time in his short show-live the Best in Show. Congratulations to a very proud and happy Hannelore in Berlin and to Tanja who presented our Wombles again perfect.
Our dogs were at the EURODOG SHOW 2002 in Paris successfull too. Landmark Sarah Jayne won the Puppyclass with an "Excelent 1" and got the title "European Hope 2002". And Silvanus Kapriccio became second in the Workingdog Class.

04.11.2002 Temeraire Torrid Zone and Silvanus Kapriccio, both won CACIB-Reserve

Temeraire Torrid Zone won at the 13th of Octobre the Open Class at the CAC in Leipzig and got the CAC-Reserve. Even at the CACIB Show in Hannover he won the Open Class and received the CACIB-Reserve.
Silvanus Kapriccio could win on both days at the CACIB Show in Lausanne (Switzerland) the CACIB-Reserve too. Landmark Sarah Jayne received from the Belgian judge MME. Delvaux a "very promising" at that show.

03.10.2002 Silvanus Kapriccio won Title "Best Working Dog in Show"

At the CAC Show in Forst Silvanus Kapriccio was successful again and won the Title "Best Working Dog in Show". Landmark Sarah Jayne was really relaxed in the ring and received again a "very promising" from the Austrian Judge Mrs. Maria Hutsteiner. Congratulations to Ilse Mauler with her lovley English Setter bitch Romance of my Heart von der Guldegg. She could win the title "Best in Show". It was a real good day for the English Setters!

08.09.2002 Silvanus-Familie won at the shows in Stuttgart und Paaren-Glien

We had some problems with our computers, but now we have stand all the virusattacks and computer chrashdowns and we are online back again. There are some news from the last month:
At the CACIB show in Hillerod/ Denmark, Saturday 17.08.2002, Silvanus Kapriccio won with an "Excelent 1". One day later he could win the Working dog class in Bad Segeberg. For the first time Temeraire Torrid Zone started in the Open class and he received a "Excelent 2".
At the 25.08.2002 Silvanus Kapriccio was able to win the CACIB show in Stuttgart again and he received the CACIB and BOB.
Only one week later the Silvanus-Family met at the CAC show in Paaren-Glien. Temeraire Torrid Zone received again an "Excelent 2" in the Open class and Silvanus Kondor won the Champion class. Silvanus Kamee and Silvanus Kapriccio could both win the Working dog class and the CAC. At this show Landmark Sarah Jayne gave her show-ring debut and received an "very promising".

04.08.2002 Silvanus won CAC and BOB in Cloppenburg

Silvanus Kapriccio won at the National Breeding Show 2002 in Cloppenburg and recieved the CAC and the BOB. This was his third winning this year. In FCI-Group 7 he became third.

15.07.2002 Results of the WORLD WINNER DOG SHOW 2002 in Amsterdam

We are happy to present to all setter friends the results of the world winner dog show 2002 in Amsterdam. We got all the results from Misses Dr. Schmidt from Berlin. She made some notices at the ring and we say thank you to her for helping us. We beg your pardon for any mistake that might have happen. Please let us know and we will correct that soon.
Now it is official: Our Silvanus Kapriccio, named Karim Khan is German Champion (VDH). We are very happy of this title and for the CACIB and CAC he won this year.

17. Mai 2002 Silky arrived in Germany

We are very, very happy that Silky - Landmark Sarah Jayne - arrived safe in Germany. This young little Lady is more than cute and we all love her because of her friendly nature. Many thanks to the breeders Sue Kominek and Richard Scott for sending us this fine little puppy. All together we hope that she will grow as well as she did in the first weeks of her young live. And we will not forget to say "Thank You" to Suzanne Walsh for her help - we could ask her whenever we needed help.

11. Mai 2002 CAC Bestensee: Temeraire Torrid Zone wins Youthclass again

At the "Silvanus-Family Meeting" at the CAC in Bestensee near Berlin Temeraire Torrid Zone won the youth class again and Silvanus Kondor won the CAC. Congratulation to Gudrun Merrem.
Tanja's Silvanus Kimberly could win the open class and the CAC-Reserve. Silvanus Kapriccio became second in the working class and Etna Franzciszkanski Folwark became first in the Honour-Class. You will find some impressions of this show in our section "photos of today". We had a lot of rain and parts of the judging happend in a big tent and you will find some nice photos "Child with dog"; all the children are younger than 9 years.

09.Mai 2002 CAC Winterbach: Silvanus Kapriccio wins BOB and title German Ch.

On a sunny Ascension Day Silvanus Kapriccio was able to win at the CAC in Winterbach and got the BOB from the judge Mr. Laurent Pichard (Switzerland). Now he won his class often enough and will get the title German Champion (VDH). You will find some impressions of that well prepared show in Winterbach in our section "photos of today".

4. Mai 2002 Temeraire Toorid Zone European Youth Winner (VDH) 2002

Temeraire Torrid Zone was succsessfull again. He won the Youth Class at the European Championship Show in Dortmund and is now European Youth Winner (VDH) 2002. Congratulations to Hannelore and Tanja for showing him so well. Suzanne Walsh was very happy too.

24. April 2002 Temereraire Torrid Zone wins BOB and FCI- Group 7 in Berlin

Temeraire Torrid Zone was very sucsessfull at his first start on a breeding-show in Germany. He won the Youthclass at the CACIB in Berlin an got a "Excelent 1" and afterwards he got the BOB from the judge Miss Roswitha Pieck (Germany). Finally he won the FCI Group 7 - a little sensation for a 13 month old dog! Congratulations to Hannelore and Wombles in Berlin and many thanks to Suzanne Walsh for giving us such a lovly and beautiful dog!.
Silvanus Kondor won at the same show the Championclass and recieved the Reserve CACIB. Best wishes to Gudrun Merrem.

16. March 2002 Offenburg: Silvanus Kapriccio wins CACIB

Silvanus Kapriccio won at his first start on a breeding show in 2002 the CABIB in Offenburg. Judge was Mrs. Christa Heyde from Germany. We wish all "Silvanus Dogs" good luck an d success for the new show season

9. March 2002 We present a new member of the Silvanus family

We welcome a new member of the Sivanus-Family: Wombles. The young boy has accustomed in Germany very well and likes to live in Hannelores home. He especially loves running in the snow.
You will find more photos of Wombles in our section "photos of today". We put some photos from his first hunting lesson to this place. More informations about him will follow in the next weeks.

16. February 2002 Vivi on her way to Rainbow-Bridge

Silvanus Helveta "Vivi" died today in the age of 15 years and is now on the way to the rainbow-bridge. She will allways be in our hearts and we mourn together with Hannelore.

1. Decmber 2001 - Silvanus goes Online

We are proud that we are now able to present our new hompage to you. We hope you will enjoy our sides and that you might find something of interest every time you visit us. Many thanks to all the friends who helped us so much, espacially to Steven Zeek. He translated a lot of pages and helped us to present you an English Version from the very beginning on too.

4. November 2001 CACIB show in Herning DK and CAC show Waldemar Marl Pokal in Berlin

Silvanus Kapriccio won the working dog class and was judged best dog at the CACIB Show in Herning Denmark. The judge, Mr. Peter Fly-Hansen decieded to give him only the CAC because their were no English Setter dogs other than in the working class. As a result of his victory at this International Show, Karim is qualified for the crufts 2002 .
Silvanus Kaprice won the open class at the Waldemar Marl CAC show in Berlin and also won the CAC-Reserve. - It was a succsesful weekend for the Silvanus dogs again.

28. Oktober 2001 CACIB show in Hannover

Silvanus Kondor and Silvanus Kimberly each won the open class at the international CACIB show in Hannover. They each won their fourth "Anwartschaft" for the title German Champion (VDH). Because of this distinctiont they are allowed to complete in in the champion class. Congratiulations to their proud owners Gudrun Merrem and Tanja Pankotsch.

	Success message from the girls of our O-litter: Silvanus ORNELLA finished her awards for Polish Youth Champion in Inowroclaw and won one more time the Youth Class with Winner and Best Junior and BOB. Silvanus OCHRA - OXANA received all the necessary awards for Youth Champion Poland , too: Once again she received at the International Show on April 27th, 2008 in Opole the title Best Junior in Breed The title Champion Poland of our Silvanus Nightingale has been confirmed already. BOB (Best of Breed) Silvanus Mortimer received it at the International Dog Show on April 6th, 2008 in Berlinr One more time he won the first price in FCI - Group 7 this day again. He received this predicate mostly on international shows. At the same show our Silvanus Olivera won the Youth Class with an "Excellent 1", Youth CAC and Youth Winner Berlin.

	By now, of the puppies of our P-Litter, born 06.12.2007, almost all have been well placed, in Germany as well as abroad. We wish our little ones as well as their new owners lots of joy and all the best. Please let us know or see once in a while, how it is going. 	Silvanus Ochra Oxana - 1. Rank Group VII We are very glad about the wonderful success of our Silvanus Ochra Oxana at the dog show on 04.12.2007 in Nova Ruda / Poland. Starting in "Youthclass", the dog has gained an Excellent 1, Youth CWC, Youth BOB, BOB and first rank in FCI-Group VII. Congratulations to her owner Urszula!!
